While we've dealt with projects sourcing impellers for use in transportation, our primary experience is with stainless steel impellers made for pumps in applications ranging from simple water pumps for home construction and garden use on through pumps used in agriculture, municipal projects, oil & gas, hazardous materials and, well, pretty much anywhere big, strong pumps - submersible or not - are needed.
In our work, we have been asked to source impellers in several materials, but obviously pumps get wet so we've mostly seen 304 grade stainless steel, 316 SS, SS304 and on up through more demanding applications that require 440 stainless and SS 431 for high corrosion resistance in applications where high yield strength is a factor.
If you're stuck with section 301 tariffs and you need to get your manufacturing out of you-know-where, we can assist you with our foundries and pump parts experts in Thailand and India, particularly. It's not that impellers aren't made anywhere else, but typically we find that clients moving production out of Section 301-land are moving at a price point where sourcing stainless steel impellers from markets like Taiwan or Turkey isn't cost-effective.
Good news, though, we know foundries who specialize specifically in making stainless steel impellers for pumps and we can help. That's not just pulled from a list, by the way. We have various partners who can make and balance an impeller just fine, but we also have several that specialize specifically in stainless steel impellers, pump parts and even entire pump assemblies.
If you're tired of dealing with shady agents and blasting your request to the fifty spammiest people imaginable on Alibaba and Indiamart, give us a shout. We're Americans who have lived and worked in Asia long-term, with a team in the US to help you there as well, and we get things done the right way.
Contracts, timelines, Gantt charts, correct invoices, etc. Heck, we even answer emails, text messages and so on in a timely fashion.
Oh and we wrote this article for these SS impellers specifically, you won't find the same copypasta nonsense on every page, which is the sign of a company you cannot trust. That photo is also not from a client project. We work almost entirely under NDA and/or under contract, so we never disclose confidential client info without express permission.
We are essentially a 24/7 company where the sun never sets, and we take you and your business seriously. Give us a chance to prove it on your stainless steel impeller project.
If you're interested in hearing more, you can email us now at info@motoa.group or call +1-832-919-6774 - our teams in the US and Asia are around 24/7.
Sometimes we just can't help, but even in those cases we all learn something from the experience. So, if you've got a sourcing need, tell us what it is and we'll get right on seeing what we can do about it!
