We routinely work on packages for clients ranging from tens of thousands of pieces on up through millions, pieces small and large - from pinion supports to counterweights. Not every project is a good fit, but we're honest and up-front - and we communicate, making sure you get answers.

What metals can we source castings from?
What is competitive and possible per-foundry varies by project, but the majority of our sourcing projects involve ductile iron, grey iron and steel. Other sourcing projects involve aluminum, manganese steel, stainless steel, nickel and other ferrous / non-ferrous alloys. Grades and standards vary by source, country and project, so tell us what you need and let's get into the details!
What countries do we have foundry partners in?
Our US-lead team, based out of Texas and Thailand, works directly with multiple foundries in India, Vietnam, Thailand and a few other locations. In addition, we have worked on casting projects with partners in Taiwan, Turkey and Eastern Europe - as well as the US, actually - but the majority of our metal casting clients end up sourcing from India, Vietnam and Thailand.
What certifications do our foundry partners have?
Obviously, this is a per-foundry question, so tell us what you're looking for and we'll narrow it down. Most foundries we work with are ISO9001, especially in Thailand & India. Some are TS16949. Some partners are certified for marine parts, others for rail, while some have environmental and health & safety certs like ISO14001 & ISO45001. A few don't have any of these - and do great work.
Can we handle process and testing requirements?
Absolutely. In fact, we are a third layer that can abstract these from the foundry and represent your interests. Making sure things go right is part of what our teams do, otherwise it's just forwarding emails. To that end, we work with independent labs & metallurgists in the US and overseas, and we can support anything from basic quality plans and use of jigs/gauges in production, to PPAP or whatever you need.
