What inspection services do you offer?
The usual acronym list of PPI, IPI, DPI, PSI and so on, as well as OES & other metallurgy tests, coating tests, pretty much anything that is available from independent labs in markets like Thailand, India and elsewhere. This includes working with engineers and scientists in the US and abroad to sync data and interpret results as needed.
As well, if you need help structuring your agreement legally & contractually, or you need help arranging interpreters and zoom calls - really, we do it for all our clients on all our projects, so it's down to your business and engineering requirements, but we can work it out.
What do you look for in a manufacturer?
Most people roll out the laundry list of document requirements, but as our American-led teams have been at the top of locally owned Asian factories previously, we know the reality - it's really down to the capabilities, the attitude and the people.
What you can't tell from a website, a Zoom call or an ISO certificate is what will happen when you're not watching. We specialize in, essentially, spotting cultural and personal indications of a good partner, then using planning, agreements, audits, tests and enforcement to ensure that your project goes right. The right partner doesn't get it right because they have to, they get it right because they want to.
Can I just hire you to check on my factory?
You can, yeah, but as with anything in life we really need to know what you're thinking, where you're at and the particulars of what you're looking for to be effective. We could just list "$250 per man-day all inclusive audits!" like many sites do, as if we're running a resort, but that's nonsense, frankly.

Can you support APQP, PPAP & Other Programs?
Absolutely, yes, but that begins with your needs and - especially - your agreement with the manufacturing partners. One thing we strongly urge all clients to do is Write Things Down and then Get Signed Agreement. Obviously advanced planning and project management programs are intended to do that, but they rest on the foundation of a contractual relationship between parties.
In other words, we can help create and enforce whatever program you need, but as with all contract law dating back throughout history, it rests on the consent of both parties. We can help you vet partners for whether they're serious, or whether they're compliant, but we can't make them want to be. That's why we choose carefully.
